WHAT IS SAM SUPPORT?
STUDYSEED ANSWERS ME!
Our SAM service allows students to send us their Maths, English and Science questions via message on mobile, tablet or desktop.
After you submit your question, one of our subject-specific tutors will provide a detailed, written explanation within a few hours. You can ask your questions anonymously and also view other students' questions to see if someone else has already asked something similar.
WHY DID WE INTRODUCE SAM?
For many students, booking an online tuition session isn't possible. They may not have access to a suitable device, they may feel anxious about being in an online lesson or it might be too expensive to book a full session if they only need to ask a question or two.
We wanted to provide another option for students who would prefer to send us a quick snap of their problem and get a written response back from us instead.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Within the platform there are different areas for each subject and subject level - these are called 'pods'. When you sign up for SAM, you can join the pod or pods that you need support with. We offer bundles for users who wish to access multiple pods (see pricing below).
Within the pod, you can ask as many questions are you like and one of our tutors will respond with a detailed answer. You can access the platform from your phone or laptop.

WHAT MAKES SAM DIFFERENT?
In order to launch our SAM service we needed a secure learning platform that would meet our strict safeguarding policy, which is why we couldn't offer a service like this on regular messaging platforms.
Our SAM service ensures that only students and Studyseed tutors have access to the platform, all tuition discussions are monitored and student users have the option to use a nickname if they wish to remain anonymous when speaking to one of our tutors (admins can still see which account is posting for safeguarding).

You will need to have a client account in order to purchase access to SAM. If you have an existing account, please follow the instructions below. If you need to set up a new client account, please use this form to create an account.
HOW TO ACCESS SAM
To purchase access to our SAM platform, please log in to your client account here and navigate to the 'Book a Lesson' page using the menu.
You will be able to see the three pricing options for one month's access listed each Monday in the calendar. After booking in, we will contact you to see which pod(s) you would like to have access to and a link to create your user account will be sent to your email address.
Payment will be requested at the end of the month as part of your monthly invoice.
